Role Purpose

Join Lesaka Point of Sale as an Onsite Support & Installation Technician and play a critical role in delivering world-class POS solutions to the hospitality industry. Youโ€™ll handle installations, troubleshooting, and client training while ensuring smooth go-lives and exceptional customer service.

This is a hands-on, field-based role for a tech-savvy problem solver who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys working independently.


๐ŸŒŸ Key Responsibilities

  • Installation & Setup: Install POS terminals, printers, scanners, and networking infrastructure for hospitality clients.
  • Onsite Support & Troubleshooting: Resolve hardware/software issues, repair faulty equipment, and adapt solutions to client environments.
  • Configuration & Testing: Configure BIOS, IP settings, and load POS software; conduct full functionality tests.
  • Client Training & Liaison: Train customers on installed systems and maintain professional client-facing communication.
  • Operational Duties: Manage Lesaka loan equipment, stock take, and complete installation checklists with accurate documentation.
  • After-Hours Support: Participate in standby rotation and handle urgent issues outside business hours.

๐Ÿ’ผ Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 / Matric
  • IT qualification recommended (A+ / N+)
  • 1โ€“2 yearsโ€™ experience in IT hardware support or field installations
  • Windows networking experience
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Own reliable vehicle and valid driverโ€™s license (essential)
  • Willingness to work irregular hours and travel long distances
  • Hospitality or POS-related tech experience is an advantage
